Are blackouts common to fibromyalgia

My 20 year old daughter has recently been diagnosed with fibro and and she just told me she is having recurring episodes of momentary "blackouts", or times when she feels she has no legs, or her vision, hearing, thinking, (anything related to her head) is temporarily gone. This sounds very frightening to me. Has anyone experienced any symptoms like these?

I don't think this is fibro. Your daughter should get an MRI of her brain asap. Consult a neurologist. Refer back to general discussion

Thanks, as it turns out, these were symptoms of having skipped a couple of days of taking Zoloft, however we do have an appointment with a rheumatologist, and her doctor wants her to get an MRI.
